Amazon is now searching through book text and displaying “Statistically Improbable Phrases” (SIPS) – basically relevant keyword tags found in the book. (via RageBoy)

Amazon’s offering is very similar to Google Print, except they are approaching it from a tagging method. Amazon tags books with these SIPS so that you can navigate to other books with the same SIPS. Very convienient.

I wonder how this will affect A9 and its offerings.
